VinylCrate is a companion app for vinyl collectors, whether you own fifty records or five thousand. It's built for the way records are actually collected, played, and remembered.

VinylCrate is written in Swift and SwiftUI, and uses the platform rather than working around it.

Privacy first
Every scan runs on your iPhone. No photograph of your records — a sleeve, a run-out groove, your own copy — is ever sent to us. VinylCrate contacts Discogs to sync your account, search for a release, or fetch album details and artwork.
Turn on iCloud sync and your library and photos travel to your own private iCloud database — scoped to your Apple Account, between your own devices, shared with no one. We never receive it.
The app does send usage and crash data to Google Firebase, including your Discogs username if you've connected an account and the albums you add or play. The privacy policy has the details. There are no ads, and we don't sell your data. Your vinyl collection is yours.
